Now that it is getting darker earlier, here is my humble request to all pedestrians and cyclists: Please be visible by wearing or carrying anything white or reflective so that motorists can see you in the dark.
This morning on my way to work, I spotted an elderly man on a moped with no lights front or back, and it was dark due to the heavy rain.
Imagine the possible consequences if someone spotted him too late, tried to brake hard and... Well, you can imagine the rest.
Kids will be out of school as it starts to get dark next month, so they should practise being visible now.
No mother wants to see her precious one injured or on their last breaths.
