Surrey is contemplating new dog parks. Good! This little poem expresses why it’s a wonderful idea:
Dog parks are delightful places,
To get your exercise,
You’ll meet the nicest people there,
Which should be no surprise.
For people who love their dogs,
Radiate a type of joy,
That is a reflection of their dog’s love,
Which all canines employ.
The majority of people are friendly,
As are all their pets,
A friendly greeting from those you meet,
Is what a walker gets.
So try walking in a dog park,
And if you need a pet,
See what an animal shelter has,
A move you won’t regret.
