Seems like an easy solution if they’re not using the extra stove (as Pat Salvidge claims in her letter): Get rid of it. Why pay an extra $373 a year for something they don’t use? Donate it to a charity or someone who can use it. Over 10 years, you’ll save $3,730 and maybe take a vacation instead of griping over something with such an easy solution.
