A three-game undefeated streak came to an abrupt end for the North Delta Devils.

The Pacific Junior Hockey League team, which had two wins and a tie in their previous three outings, were drubbed 11-0 by the Abbotsford Pilots Friday night at the MSA Arena in Abbotsford. The next night, the Devils fell 5-1 to the Aldergrove Kodiaks at the Sungod Arena.

The Pilots led 2-0 and 9-0 at the period breaks, and outshot North Delta 49-30. They did most of the damage on the powerplay, scoring five times on eight chances. The Devils were scoreless on two powerplay opportunities.

Against the Kodiaks on home ice Saturday night, the Devils trailed 2-0 after one period and 4-0 after two. Tristan Craighead netted the lone goal of the weekend for North Delta in the third period, with Kyla Mana and Levi De Waal assisting.

The Devils, in the league basement with 10 wins in 43 starts, will play their final game of the season next Saturday at 7:15 p.m. at Sungod against the Richmond Sockeyes.
