Softball player Taylor Parker has been named Female Senior Student Athlete of the Year at Felician College.
Academic performance, athletic contribution, citizenship and leadership both inside and outside of athletics are among the selection criteria.
Parker plays third base for the Felician Golden Falcons in New Jersey, and is the school’s all-time leader in base hits with 180. She set school records in 2013 with 59 hits and 16 doubles, and this past season batted .317 with two home runs, 20 runs scored and 31 runs batted in.
She has a 3.68 grade-point average while majoring in business administration. She is a 2011 graduate of Semiahmoo Secondary.
