Three members of the Surrey Gymnastics Society placed fifth all around in their respective categories at a competition in Coquitlam last weekend.
Lily Rio, 12, won a gold medal on bars and added a silver on vault to place fifth in Level 2 Tyro. Teammate Alexandria, 10, won gold on vault while Madison Plug, 10, placed sixth on beam.
In Level 2 Argo, Sage Bishop-Bearone, 9, won a gold on beam, a silver on bars and placed fourth on vault to place fifth all around.
The third gymnast to place fifth in her category was Jennifer Principe, 9, in the Level 1 Argo group for girls born in 2001. Principe won a gold medal on beam and was sixth on vault and bars. Twin sister Jillian Principe was sixth on beam.
In Level 1 Argo for girls born in 2002, Jaspreet Faloure, 8, was fourth on beam and sixth all around.
