A pair of local soccer players are at the national under-17 women’s team camp in California.
Jasmine Mander of Delta and Surrey’s Kajal Parmar are in Carson, California for the 11-day camp, which is part of the selection process for the team which will compete at the Under-17 Women’s World Cup in Azerbaijan.
The camp began Saturday, and will include a pair of international games against Japan on Aug. 26 and Aug. 29.
