Two Sungod swimmers earned medals, four achieved provincial qualifying times, seven set new personal bests and 14 swimmers qualified for event finals.

“(Sungod) swimmers progressed well through the two day meet with regards to being tough. There were plenty of good swims on Sunday night which was pleasing,” said head coach Kurt Murphy, explaining there were two goals for every swimmer at the meet.

“The first is to swim fast enough in the morning to get into a top-eight position, this gets them into the event’s final, and then swim faster that evening during the finals.”
